Please join us for Kirchtag – A Day of Remembrance, Tradition & Togetherness.

All are welcome to join us for one of the most meaningful traditions of our E.O.U.V. family—our annual Kirchtag, a day to come together in remembrance and fellowship.

The day will begin with Mass at 12:00 p.m., celebrated by our Gottscheer Celebrant, Father Ralph Thomas, and uplifted by the beautiful voices of the Gottscheer Heimatchor. During this special Mass, we will lovingly remember and honor the members of our Club, as well as the family members and friends of our E.O.U.V. community, who have passed away since our last Kirchtag. Though they are no longer with us, their memories, friendship, and the many ways they touched our lives remain a cherished part of our Club family.

Family members or friends in attendance will be asked to carry a white rose and place it next to their loved ones photo on stage, when their name is read aloud. May they rest in eternal peace, and may their families find comfort in knowing that their loved ones are remembered and honored by our E.O.U.V. community.

Following Mass, we will gather together to enjoy a schnitzel dinner with all the trimmings, lovingly prepared by our dedicated kitchen staff. The afternoon will continue with music from the Gottscheer Blaskapelle and a performance by the Gottscheer Tanz und Spielkreis, carrying forward the music, traditions, and culture that have connected generations of Gottscheers.

Kirchtag reminds us that our Club is more than a place—it is a family. It is a day to remember those who came before us, cherish those who are with us today, and continue the traditions they worked so hard to preserve for the generations that follow.
